July
27-31, it's the 2006 Baylake Bank Tall Ships Festival
in Green Bay, Wisconsin. For five days, come experience
the largest fleet of Tall Ships ever to visit the Green
Bay shores. The Fleet comes to us as part of the ASTA
2006 Tall Ships Challenge.
The
featured sail boats and tall ships come from around
the world, and right at home - like the Denis Sullivan,
Wisconin's official flagship. Every ship is open for
tours and the crews will be on hand to share all the
history, information, and experience of tall ships
and the life of sailing.
The
grounds will be filled with food stands, maritime vendors,
Civil War re-enactors, music, and other live entertainment.
There will even be periodic gun battles between ships
and pirate sword fights!
The
ships arrive Thursday night in the majestic "Parade
of Ships". Tickets for the parade are just $5
and daily festival tickets are only $10. And there's
no limit on our ticket sales - so we never sell out!
