The
2006 ASTA Tall Ships Challenge kicks off in Cleveland,
Ohio with the return of the Huntington Cleveland Harborfest,
July 12-16, 2006.
Cleveland's
North Coast Harbor will be home to the sail boats and
tall ships throughout the five day event. Visitors
can walk the decks of the tall ships, learn about the
history and modern sailing of the boats, and have an
opportunity for a firsthand sailing experience.
The
festival also includes food stands, a vendor marketplace,
many diverse educational displays and exhibits, and
hands-on learning activities for the children.
Entertainment
at the festival goes beyond the sail boats and tall
ships. Strolling musicians wander the grounds and a
stage plays host to many live concerts.
In
Cleveland, the Tall Ships experience comes to you!
The
Huntington Cleveland Harborfest is produced by the
Great Lakes Science Center and the Steamship William
G. Mather Museum.
