On
the weekend of July 20-23, 2006, Bay City, Michigan
is bringing you an experience like no other. The 2006
ASTA Tall Ships Challenge is coming to town, filling
the port with majestic sail boats and tall ships. But
these ships are just for looking at - you can walk
the decks and have your own sailing adventure!
The
only Michigan port in the 2006 Tall Ships Challenge,
Bay City's Tall Ship Celebration is fun for the whole
family. Both sides of the Saginaw River will be filled
with Sailboats and Tall Ships for hands-on excitement
and education. Back on land, experience internationall
acclaimed musicians, children's arts and crafts, as
well as a variety of eating options.
The
ASTA Tall Ships fleet brings together sailors and boats
from around the world, showcasing the best in historic
and modern sailing.
